What is the difference between a canvas print and a poster?

A poster is paper: it needs a frame, it reflects light, and it creases. A canvas print is the same image printed onto canvas and stretched over a wooden stretcher bar, so the picture wraps around the sides and the piece hangs as it is. Ours are gallery wraps, 1.25 inch deep, which is the depth that keeps a large print from looking like a sheet pinned to the wall.

That wrap is also why canvas survives a room better: no glass to catch window light, and no frame to choose. It is the reason a single 18x24 canvas can hold a wall on its own.

Which size should I choose for a wall?

Match the art to the furniture, not to the wall: roughly 60–75% of the sofa or bed width. On a 78-inch sofa that is 18x24 ($99) on its own or two 16x20 ($75) canvases side by side; on a queen bed it is 16x20 ($75); for a desk, a hallway or a stacked pair, 11x14 ($45).

Every piece is printed on demand in the USA on 344 g/m² fine-art canvas, gallery-wrapped 1.25 inch deep, and ships free within the US on orders of $45 or more (production 2–5 business days, transit 3–7; United States only, returns within 30 days).
