A loose formation of soft charcoal-grey birds drifts across a horizon where gentle pastel waves roll toward an unseen shore. The lower third of the canvas holds softly breaking waves in muted seafoam green graduating to pale aqua — each wave crest caught in a single impasto palette-knife stroke, the pigment built thickest where the foam would catch light, then dragged thin into dry-brush wisps as the water recedes.
