Not the whole peacock — just a single eye-feather, the iconic ocellus, floating in the upper-center of the canvas. The feather's eye is rendered in layered charcoal ink: a dark oval center with subtle feibai texture, surrounded by concentric rings of decreasing density — deep charcoal, middle gray, pale wash, ghost-white. Fine hairline barbs radiate outward from the central quill, each one a single delicate brush stroke with feibai breaks. A few tiny metallic bronze-gold dots punctuate the eye's outer ring. The feather is not attached to any bird — it exists as pure symbol, floating in paper-white space like an offering.
